"How Much Would You Pay for the Universe?" Poster

Also during that poster design class we were tasked to create a poster responding to a political issue. As tempting as the 2016 election was, I chose a different topic.

I have always had an interest in the space program and their work during the 60's but have been relatively disappointed in the recent handling of NASA's budget by the United States Government.

I laid a bold type face with a quote from Neil DeGrasse-Tyson over a NASA photograph of the Andromeda galaxy and broke the image down into a two-color halftone process to show the different values and textures that a nebula can create.

The colors were chosen to create the sort of denseness that is often shown in photographs of space.
